"Kaen" is a musical instrument that is very popular in the Northeast part of Thailand. According to history, this musical instrument originated in China and influenced other Asian countries such as Laon, Vietnam and Thailand. The Kaen sound in this track was recorded by the Kaen master of the Karang tribe. Then the artist mixed it with natural sound to simulate the local atmosphere, specifically the Northeastern areas. Usually, the Kaen musician will play this at their rice farm surrounded by birds and trees.
